Scouts prepares young people with Skills for Life

12th Harpenden is a thriving Scout Group offering an exciting and varied programme for young people in our community, helping them develop leadership and teamwork skills as well as many other #SkillsforLife. 

We have 3 sections  - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts - and our weekly meetings take place at St Nicholas Church Hall, Church Green, Harpenden AL5 2TP at the times shown below:

Scouts prepares young people with Skills for Life

Each week 12th Harpenden gives around 85 young people the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.

We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience and skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts and Olympians.

Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your young person’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
